Willie A. Coats

Willie A. Coats, age 76 of Cub Run, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was born on September 7, 1947, in Caneyville, the son of the late Roy and Gladys Carroll Coats.

Left to honor Willie’s memory, are his children, Roy "Billy" Coats and Lisa Decker; six grandchildren, Brian Coats, Payton Coats, Brianna Coats, Zachary Decker, Sami Decker and Alex Decker; and one sister, Kathy Dunn; and his ex-wife, Wanda Coats.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by ten brothers & sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Leitchfield Memorial Chapel with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until service time on Thursday.
