Alan A. Coler-Dark

Alan A. Coler-Dark, age 61 of Leitchfield, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023, at his residence. He was born on May 19, 1962, in Monrovia, California, the son of Leslie Albert Coler-Dark and Genevieve Kathlene Coates.

Alan was a kind soul who always had a smile and was always willing to help someone in need. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his greatest past time was spending time with his daughter, Sarah. They enjoyed watching movies and having dinners together. He was a hard and dependable worker working construction.

He enjoyed doing sports in high school, including football, wrestling and many others.

Aside from his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Sarah Coler-Dark (Dustin); sisters, Eve Ybarra (Armando), Glenda Phoenix (Scott), and Nancy Moreau (Raymond); several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Lizzy.

He was preceded in death by Teresa Haas.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Leitchfield Memorial Chapel with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until service time Friday at the funeral home.
