Anna Mudd

Anna Marie Mudd, age 39 of Leitchfield, passed away Monday, March 29th 2021 at the Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Regional Hospital in Leitchfield. She was born September 30th 1981 in Elizabethtown, KY, the daughter of Peggy Jean Smith Tustin & Delmer Tustin. She was a caregiver for the Lincoln Trail Heath District and a member of the Bloomington General Baptist Church. Anna was a very loving person who had a heart as big as Texas who was very loyal and protective of her family and who also was never shy to tell you how she felt about any subject. She enjoyed the outdoors with a particular love of fishing and was a devout Christian who enjoyed attending church. She is survived by her husband, Matthew Mudd; her mother, Peggy Jean Tustin; her half sister, Denise Vaughn; her sister-in-law, Lori Ann Howard (Lloyd); two aunts, Jenny Weaver & Doris McMahan; her niece, Emily Rose Howard; her mother & father-in-law, Mary Ann & Russell Mudd; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Delmer Tustin and her grandparents, Hayward & Lorene Smith. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, April 2nd 2021 at the Sadler Church in Leitchfield. She will be laid to rest in the Sadler Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the church. Family and friends who wish to honor and remember Mrs. Mudd at the visitation or funeral are required to wear a mask for the safety of all those in attendance.
