Bart Peerce

Bart A. Peerce, age 60 of Clarkson, passed away on December 26th 2019. He was born August 17th 1959 in Clarkson, KY the son of Wilbur & Jerline Peerce. He is survived by seven brothers & sisters, Donna Peerce, Vickie Peerce Shufer, R. Allan Peerce, Gregory Peerce (Debra), Karen Peerce Meredith (Steve), Marla Peerce Ward (Kenny), and Philip Peerce (Yvonda), ten nieces & nephews, and eleven great nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday (December 30th 2019) at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Peonia. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday (Dec 29th) a with prayer service at 6:00 p.m., at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to the St. Paul Catholic School. Bart was well known through the county due to his interactions with his many friends through his job at Wal-Mart where he had worked for 17 years before his accident. He was a lifelong member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church, an avid U.K. basketball fan, and was a passionate fan of western television shows. One of his favorite hobbies was long drives on Sunday afternoons where he would explore country roads that he was unfamiliar with. He has now embarked upon his final journey. He will be missed.
