Betty Sims Bryson, age 75 of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at her residence. She was born on May 2, 1948 in Grayson County, the daughter of the late Alvie Leo and Effie L. Gibson Sims.
Betty enjoyed going to yard sales and collecting things. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Owen.
Left to honor Betty’s memory, is her grandson Owen Mattingly.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Leonna Bryson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Leitchfield Memorial Chapel with Bro. Hank Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:30 pm on Friday and again from 9:00 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
