Charles Brown

Charles Embry Brown, Sr, age 75 of Clarkson, passed away Sunday, January 5th 2020 at his residence. He was born September 9th 1944 in Cecilia, KY, the son of Russell & Mary Pence Brown. He is survived by his children, Kevin Brown, Greg Brown, Robin Daniels, Charles Brown, Jr., James McCandless, Charles McCandless, Kenneth McCandless, & Patricia McCandless, eleven grandchildren, and one sister, Catherine Lucas. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Emma Brown Stribling & Rita Brown Patterson Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday (January 10th 2020) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery in Big Clifty. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
