Charles Witten

Charles Conda Witten, age 86 of Clarkson, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center in Leitchfield. He was born December 30, 1935 in Clarkson the son of Leon Cole Witten and Theresa Milton Witten. Charles was a member of Jubilee Pentecostal Church. He loved to play anything with strings and he also loved to play the harmonica. He loved his family, loved teasing everyone and enjoyed a good conversation. He also enjoyed his motorcycles and air planes. Left to honor Charles' memory are his wife of 61 years, Doris Decker Witten; three children, April Vera Green (Kenneth), Clifford Morris Witten and Amanda Joy Fulkerson (Sam); eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Stephen Kristopher Witten. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, June 6, 2022 at Leitchfield Memorial Chapel with Bro. Sam Fulkerson officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday and again from 9:00 am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
