Charlotte Williams

Charlotte Williams, age 74 of Leitchfield, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center in Leitchfield. She was born on January 20, 1950, in Snap, Kentucky, the daughter of the late George Washington Williams, Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth “Lizzy” Shartzer Williams.

Charlotte was a member of Clarkson Baptist Church. Her favorite past times were working puzzle books and puzzles and playing with her dolls.

Left to honor Charlotte’s memory are her sister, Carrie Saltsman (Jimmy); four nieces, Rosa, Dossie, Beverly and Patsy; and one nephew, Kendall.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman and James Henry Williams; and one sister, Gladys Cornelious.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Leitchfield Funeral Home with Bro. Hank Gibson and Bro. J. R. Smiley officiating. Burial will be in Clarkson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service on Monday at the funeral home.
