Curtis Thomas Hayse, Jr.

Curtis Thomas Hayse, Jr., age 37 of Leitchfield, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 at his residence. He was born on December 30, 1986, in Leitchfield the son of Julie Kinkade and the late Curtis Thomas Hayse, Sr.

Curtis loved playing with his children and in his free time he enjoyed restoring old bicycles.

Aside from his mother, he is survived by his children, Kal-El Shane Hayse, Kobain Lee Hayse, and Kalix Thomas Hayse; one brother, Matthew Hayse; three nieces, Allison, Maci and Stella Hayse; one nephew, Konnor Hayse; the mother of his children, Amy Lyons; and several aunts, uncles and extended family.

Aside from his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dylan Shane Fleener; his grandparents, Shirley and Janice Kinkade and Curtis and Dorothy Hayse; two uncles, Ted Kinkade and Robert Hayse; and one aunt, Debbie Garner.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Leitchfield Funeral Home. Burial will be in McGrew Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday and again from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
