Devin Coon

Devin Michael Coon, age 18 of Olaton, passed away Thursday, August 29th 2019, at his residence. He was born, January 24th 2001, in Evansville, IN, the son of Davis Keith & Christina Lynn Boyd Coon. He was a student at the Grayson County High School where he was the 1st Trumpet Player for the Cougar Marching Band. He had also enlisted in the Unites States Marine Corps and was set to begin his service after graduation. He is survived by his parents, David & Christina Coon; three brothers, Joe, Nick, & David Coon; three sisters, Abby, Brooklyn, & Alexis Coon; maternal grandparents, Peggy & David Gaines and Larry Boyd; maternal great grandparents, Willie & Bobbie Wright; one niece, Madalyn Spencer; two nephews, Alex Spencer & Colton Hawkins; and several aunts, uncles, & cousins. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday (Sept 3) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Cremation was chosen in lieu of burial. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Watson and Hunt Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Devin.
