Douglas Burden

Douglas E. Burden, age 61 of Leitchfield, passed away Tuesday, October 29th 2019 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born October 2nd 1958 in Jefferson County, Kentucky, the son of Clifton & Helen Coogle Burden. He is survived by his wife, Mendy Horsley Burden, his children, Jennifer Maples (Anthony), Christina Thompson (Adam), Jeremy Burden, & John Burden, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, two brothers, Junior Burden (Tina) & Allen Burden (Eva), and two sisters, Diane Lucas (Curt) & Charlotte Cahill (Tony). Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Decker, his brother, Wayne Burden, and his step-son, Brian Harned. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday (November 2nd) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Hardinsburg. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00 p.m., Friday (Nov 1) and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
