Edward Allen Wilkinson, age 65 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, February 9th 2022 at the Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. He was born July 4th 1956 in Harvard, Illinois, the son of Edward J. Wilkinson & Jennifer Stafford McClenthen. Edward was a Marine Corps veteran during the Vietnam War and a business analyst process modeler for Humana. Edward was a beloved husband to his wife, Triza, a loving father to his son and step-children and his many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Edward enjoyed listening to Jazz music and loved cooking, as well as building a home for him and his wife that he took much care in designing and constructing. He is survived by his wife, Triza Simmons Wilkinson; his son, Daniel Wilkinson; three step-children, Angela Brown, Amy Brown, & Aaron Brown; seven grandchildren, Kaelin (his wife Felicia), Micha, Ethan, Kullen, Sofia, Summer, & Jasper; two great grandchildren, Cannan & Kaiden; his father, Edward Wilkinson; his mother & step-father, Jennifer & Jason McClenthen; two brothers, Scott Wilkinson (his wife, Nadine) & Tracy Wilkinson (his wife, Lisa); and one sister, Michelle Reynolds (her husband, Rob). He was preceded in death by his great grandchild, Kashden Reed. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m.(CST), Wednesday (Feb 16th) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. He will be laid to rest in the Holbert Cemetery in Eastview, KY. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. (CST) until service time on Wednesday. Watson & Hunt Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Wilkinson.
