Edwina Clark

Edwina Clark, age 85 of Big Clifty, passed away Friday, May 28th 2021 at the Springview Health & Rehab Center in Leitchfield. She was born September 7th 1935 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of Hubert & Gertie Decker. She is survived by her children, Garry Hockenbury, Deborah Foley, Pamela Headrick (William), Vicky Mercer (Gary, Sr.), David Hockenbury, & Tracy Haycraft (Aaron); seventeen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Jerlean Basham. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clark; three sisters, Veronica Doolin, Freda Hack, & Vernese Wilson; two brothers, Lovoid Decker & Hilman Decker; and one great grandchild, Sarah Hockenbury. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday (May 31st) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. She will be laid to rest in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Family and Friends who wish to honor and remember Edwina in person at the visitation or funeral are required to wear a mask while in the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance. New CDC guidelines state that those who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask. Watson & Hunt Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Clark.
