Elaine Decker

Elaine Decker, age 80 of Clarkson, passed away Tuesday, July 16th 2019 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield. She was born September 18th 1938 in Grayson County, KY the daughter of Howard & Ersley McStoots King. She was a seamstress at Leitchfield Cleaners. She is survived by her husband, Everett Decker, five children, Kendall Decker (Tammy), Carol Logsdon (Rickey), Sandy Glenn (Stephen), Mary Robinson (Bruce), & Toby Decker (Angie), sixteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, & eight great-great grandchildren, and eight sisters, Gerlene Smith, Evelyn Cook, Alice Grimes, Susie Mercer, Natella Williams, Joyce Richards, Dottie Cottrell, & Loretta Stone. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Wendell Winchell, five brothers, William, James, Jessie, Elvie, & Simon King, four sisters, Ventia King, Rena Mae Whobrey, Rosie Whobrey, & Wanda McStoots, one son-in-law, Ralph Newton, one grandson, and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 19th 2019 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Bill Newton Cemetery in Blowtown. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday.
