Eliane Watkins

December 28, 1945 — February 6, 2021

Elaine Carol Watkins, age 75 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 6th 2021 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born December 28th 1945 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of Bob & Betty Spink Richardson. She was a devoted housewife, loving mother & grandmother, she was also a member of the Mt. Hebron Full Gospel Church. She is survived by two children, Gloria Watkins & Henry Watkins; fourteen grandchildren, Joey Watkins, Jessica Watkins, Jennifer Watkins, Cindy Watkins, Rachel Eason, Matt Gilbert, Brittany Rogers, Casey Sullivan, Burke Coomer, Haley Baize, Christopher Lord, Jesse Lord, Virginia Watkins, & Ella Watkins; and twenty great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Watkins, Sr.; three children, Rob Watkins, Donnie Watkins, & Kim Coomer; and one grandson, Matthew Gilbert. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 13th 2021 at the Mt. Hebron Full Gospel Church in Leitchfield. She will be laid to rest in the Mr. Hebron Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday. Family and friends who wish to honor and remember Mrs. Watkins at the visitation or the funeral are required to wear a mask while inside the church for the safety of all those in attendance. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form on donations to help with the funeral expenses. Watson & Hunt Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Watkins.
