George Schafer

George Daniel Schafer, age 66 of Leitchfield, passed away Saturday, April 25th 2020 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born July 17th 1953 in Louisville, KY, the son of Raymond & Elizabeth Hughes Schafer. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn King Schafer, two children, Keith Schafer & Dana Schafer Bayer, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private funeral service for George Schafer will be held on Thursday, April 30th 2020 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Big Clifty.
