Ina Decker

Ina Elizabeth Decker, age 72 of Leitchfield passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville. She was born on January 14, 1950 in Anneta, Kentucky the daughter of the late Nathan and Georgie Meredith Decker. Ina was an awesome mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who loved her family fiercely. Spending most of her life caring for them as a homemaker and caretaker for them, she was known for working on the farm and canning food for them. Left to honor Ina's memory are her husband, Everette Decker; five children, Denver Ray Decker (Mary McGrew), Donna Sanders (Aubrey), Ora McGrew (Danny), Mary Decker (David Jarboe) and Billie Parker (Jeff); seven grandchildren, Gail Rice, Tyler Decker, Nathaniel Ness, Brandi Parker, Damon Jarboe, Joseph Parker (Fallon) and Eli Parker; three great-grandchildren, Ryder Parker, Elias Miller and Jonathan Kye Decker; one brother, Stanley Decker; a special friend, Rita Fay Duvall; and several nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Horace and Gracie Decker; one brother, Arthie Decker; and one sister, Mary Jane Hampton.
