Jane Alden (Logsdon) Higdon

Jane Alden (Logsdon) Higdon, age 86 of Leitchfield, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Spring View Nursing & Rehabilitation in Leitchfield. She was born on September 10, 1937, in Blowtown, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Hunter and Geneva (Sanders) Logsdon.

Jane attended Potter’s Hope Ministries. She loved her family and enjoyed her time with her brothers and sisters. She was a hard worker throughout her life and always had a smile.

Left to honor Jane’s memory, are her children, Diania Decker (Warren) and Patrick Decker (Brenda); three grandchildren, Bradford Decker, Kimberly Paul and Daniel Decker; nine great-grandchildren, Tara, Coley, Ethan, Isaac, Christian, Kennedy, Devlyn, Rimmie and Jensen; one sister, Elsie McGraw; three sisters-in-law, Mary King Logsdon, Shirley Logsdon and Ethel Decker; and one brother-in-law, Dudley Decker.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Leitchfield Funeral Home with Bro. Evan Butler officiating. Burial will be in Wortham Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time, on Saturday, at the funeral home.
