July 30, 1949 — July 26, 2020

Janice Sue Kinkade-Decker, age 70 of Leitchfield, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 26th 2020 at her residence. She was born July 30th 1949 in Grayson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Chester & Virginia Decker Davis. She was a retired assembly line worker at MTD and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and spent much of her time studying the teachings of the Lord. She is survived by her children, Danny Kinkade, Karen Kinkade, Julie Kinkade, Tammie McStoots, & Hollie Witten, three sisters, Joan Meredith, Kathy Anderson, & Helen Sandlin, two brothers, Harold Davis & Chester Davis, Jr., eleven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three step-great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Kinkade, one son, Ted Kinkade, one grandson, Dylan Fleener, and one sister, Betty Lou Davis. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30th 2020 a the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at the Scott Cemetery in Leitchfield. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. All those who wish to honor and remember Janice Decker in person at the visitation or memorial service must wear a mask or other appropriate facial covering and practice physical distancing while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance. Watson & Hunt Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Decker.
