Jasper Lee Pearl, age 74 of Elizabethtown, passed away Thursday, February 11th 2021, at the Baptist Health Hardin Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born August 21st 1946, in Big Clifty, Kentucky, the son of Walter Louis Pearl, Sr. & Roxie Bell Lampton Pearl. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and an inspector at the Ford Motor Company for 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Linda Marie Gent Pearl; two children, Stacy Pearl-Wheeler & Derrick Lee Pearl; three sisters, Catherine Grimes, Jeanette Skaggs, & Nell Joyce; and four grandchildren, Zachary, Bradley, Jacey, & Brooklyn Pearl. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Byron Scott Pearl; two brothers, Walter Louis Pearl, Jr. & Michael Pearl; and his son-in-law, Jackson Raymond Wheeler. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon (CST), Saturday (February 20, 2021) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. He will be laid to rest in the Cedar Hill Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (CST), Friday (February 19, 2021) and from 9:00 a.m. (CST) until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Family and friends who wish to honor and remember Mr. Pearl at the visitation or the funeral are required to wear a mask while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance.
