Jo Sandlin

Jo Ann Sandlin, age 57 of Leitchfield passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born June 1, 1961 in Leitchfield, Kentucky the daughter of Bill Higdon and the late Irene Clark Higdon. She was a member of New Freedom Church and attended White Ridge Church. She is survived by her husband, Hobey Sandlin, two daughters, Amy Nugent (Anthony) and Amanda Sandlin, one son, Gavin Sandlin, her father, Bill Higdon, four step-sisters, Kay Daley, Fay Stewart, Janie Gipson, and Kathy Knicklebien, one step-brother, Owen Preston, and three grandchildren, Corbin, Arelia, and Brennan Mattingly. She was preceded in death by her mother and an infant daughter, Joanie Sandlin. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 31, 2018 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Bro. Buddy Swift and Bro. Leland Sandlin officiating. Burial will be in the New Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
