Johnny Whitehead

Johnny A. Whitehead, age 56 of Horse Branch passed away Tuesday, July 14 at his residence. He was born December 10, 1958 in Oldham County, Kentucky the son of John O. and Ruth A Stump Whitehead. He is survived by his wife, Penelope L. Coomer Whitehead, children, Eric A. Whitehead of Caneyville, Rachel Scott and Ryan Whitehead of Horse Branch, granddaughter, Alexis Myers, brother, Mark Whitehead of Leitchfield, sister, Vera Logsdon of Park City, and father, John Whitehead of Leitchfield. He was preceded in death by his mother, and brother, Ollie Ray Nation. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield with Bro. Greg Phelps officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. Burial will be held in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Morgantown, Kentucky.
