Katherine Lucille Decker

Katherine Lucille Decker, age 68 of Anneta, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born on December 8, 1954, the daughter of the late Ira and Wanda Mae Alvey Meredith.

Katherine was a member of Anneta United Baptist Church. Her favorite past times were spending time with her grandchildren and watching westerns.

Left to honor Katherine’s memory are two sons, Tracey Decker (Reena) and Timmy Decker (Katherine); six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Teresa Brooks (Monty).

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy Decker who passed away in 2018; two sons, Patrick and Daniel Decker; one brother, Rev. Thomas Meredith; and two sisters, Pauline Decker and Wanda Lee Lane.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Anneta United Baptist Church with Bro. Chris Conder officiating. Burial will be in Pollyanna Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday and again from 9:00 am until service time on Saturday at the church.
