Kathy Ward

Kathy Etta Ward, age 69 of Leitchfield, passed away Wednesday, April 28th 2021 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. She was born August 19th 1951, the daughter of Clifford and Oressa Fletcher Ward. Kathy was a very loving person who cared passionately about her family and friends. She was a very outgoing person who loved music and reading and enjoyed cheering for her Louisville Cardinals on the court. She is survived by her children, Jacob McGill (Jennifer) & Jody Killman, the light of her life, (his fianc Kristy Fulkerson ); her grandson, Ward McGill; her step-mother, Betty Ward; two sisters, Brenda Fletcher & Theresa Fletcher; and her dear friends, Paul Jefferies, Carmen Bevins, & Debbie Decker. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Ward. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday May 2nd 2021 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to help with the funeral expenses. Family and Friends who wish to honor and remember Kathy in person at the visitation or funeral are required to wear a mask while in the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance.
