Kenny Dale Gibson

Kenny Dale Gibson, age 64 of Clarkson, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at his residence. He was born on March 29, 1959, in Clarkson, Kentucky the son of the late Lebert and Mary Francis Haycraft Gibson.

Kenny was a member of Sulphur Wells Missionary Baptist Church. He was a hard worker who was helpful and kind to everyone. He was very laid back and jolly and always had a smile.

Left to honor Kenny’s memory are his children, Scott Gibson of Leitchfield and Bethany Gibson (Adam Dennison) of Clarkson; his step-children, Lonnie Whitworth, Helen Johnson and Debbie Sheroan; three grandchildren, Aurora Kaufman-Gibson, Destany Gibson and Annabelle Kaufman-Gibson; step-grandchildren, McKenna Whitworth, Haylea Whitworth, Kaytlin Burden, Renea Sheroan and John Sheroan; and six siblings, Wayne Gibson (Donna) of Magnolia, Kathy Sanders of Leitchfield, Norma Milliner (Bryan) of Leitchfield, Bonnie Hester (Randy) of Bowling Green, Ella Carnes (Neil) of Millwood and Darlene Dalton (Rick) of Bowling Green.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Horn Gibson; one sister, Treasa McGrew; one brother, Donald Ray Gibson; one niece, Heather McGrew Plamp and one grandson, Paxton Gibson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Leitchfield Memorial Chapel with Bro. Neil Carnes officiating. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
