Loraine Meredith

Loraine Meredith, age 83 of Clarkson, passed away Thursday, August 19th 2021 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield. She was born February 26th 1938 in Millerstown, KY, the daughter of Ova & Effie Logsdon Floyd. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a shipping clerk for 43 years at Walter Kelley Beekeeping Supplies. She loved working in her garden tending to her flowers, her favorite being Dragon Tongues, she loved watching birds, especially hummingbirds, and was very talented at making quilts. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Vaughan; five grandchildren, Shelly Lee, Kendra Meredith, Fallon Meredith, Rafe Vaughan, & Cody Meredith; five great grandchildren, Wyatt Vaughan, Alexis Vaughan, Kayden Meredith, Kenna Meredith, & Von Jenkins; three sisters, Judy Brickhouse, Sharon Likins, & Anna Milliner; and one brother, Tallas Floyd. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Farrell Meredith and several brothers & sisters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday (August 23rd) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at the Little Flock Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
