Loretta Ann Woodcock, age 67 of Leitchfield, passed away, Monday, January 31st 2022 at her residence. She was born December 15th 1954 in Anneta, Kentucky, the daughter of Horace & Gracie Meredith Decker. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. Loretta was a member of the McGrew General Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Woodcock; her three sons, Richie Woodcock (Carolyn), Jamie Woodcock (Shanna), & Jesse Woodcock (Erika); seven grandchildren, Richie Woodcock (Kayla), Lakeisha Starcher (Colton), Jamison Woodcock (Kailee), Anderson Woodcock, Brian Woodcock, Lucilla Woodcock, & Haylee Woodcock; three great grandchildren, Maybree Woodcock, Winston Woodcock, & Amelia Starcher; three brothers, Everett Decker (Ina), Sherman Decker (Carolyn), & Randell Decker (Mickey); three sisters, Oma Decker, Rita Tomes (Junior), & Cosetta Gibson (Floyd); several nieces & nephews and several brothers & sisters-in-law. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Decker, Kenneth Decker, & Troy Wayne Decker and one sister, Lorraine Smith. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Thursday (February 10th) at the McGrew General Baptist Church with Bro. Charlie Smith officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Vincent Cemetery in Bee Spring. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday (February 9th) and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the church. Watson & Hunt Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Woodcock.
