Lowell Alvey

Lowell Gordon Alvey, age 82 of Leitchfield, passed away Sunday, December 22nd 2019 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born March 23rd 1937 in Wax, KY, the son of Edmond & Ona Powell Alvey. He was a civil engineer for the Kentucky Department of Highways and a member of the National Street Rod Association. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Howard Alvey, his children, Gordon Alvey, James Alvey, & Loris Janell Alvey, one brother, Hershel Alvey, and his granddaughter, Natasha Alvey. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Eugena Alvey. Cremation was chosen in lieu of burial.
