Marcella Bell

Marcella C. Bell, 89, of Louisville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, December 24th, 2020 in Shelbyville, KY. Marcella was born on July 10th, 1931 in Leitchfield, KY to Willie and Lillie (Decker) Gibson. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved cooking for her family, singing and dancing. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lillie Gibson; her husband, Hubert Bell and their son Wayne Bell; one grandchild, Cecilia Bell; three brothers, Velmo, Hayward and Leonard; and one sister, Agnes. Marcella is survived by her two children, Jimmie Bell and Brenda Snider; five grandchildren, Anthony Bell, Wayne Graham, Tonya Gallant, Amanda Harmon and Drake Snider; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 at 1pm CST at Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, KY with burial to follow at Little Flock Cemetery in Clarkson, KY. Friends are invited to visit 11am - 1pm CST Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 at Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, KY. All who wish to honor and remember Marcella in person at the visitation or funeral are required to wear a mask or face covering while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance.
