Norma Maples

Norma Maples, age 64 of Clarkson, passed away Saturday, November 27th 2021 at her residence. She was born November 30th 1956 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of Norman & Mary Chilton Conders. Norma was a loving mother and grandmother who cared deeply for her family and those who knew her. She is survived by her children, Brandi Smithson (Scott), Kristy Dyer (Gary), & Anthony Maples; her father, Norman Conder (Hettie); nine grandchildren, Dillon, Wyatt (Hayley), Sydney, Shawn (Destiny), Jordan, Kristlynn, Remington, Chailey, & Alexander; three great grandchildren, Mary Jane, Harlow, two brothers, Albert Conder & Norman Conder, Jr. (Sandy); and two sisters, Patricia Gibson & Mona Lisa Watkins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Chilton; her husband, Jimmie Maples; and step-mother, Louise Conder. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday (December 3rd) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. She will be laid to rest in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
