Patsy Lindsey

Patsy Lindsey, age 67 of Leitchfield, passed away Sunday, January 24th 2021 at her residence. She was born October 23rd 1953 in Grayson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Earl & Clara Dutschke Kelley. Patsy was an active member of the Leitchfield First General Baptist Church where she was known for love of singing. She was a personnel manager at Wal-Mart until her retirement, she was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jimmy Lindsey; her daughter, Tracy Lindsey Higdon (Jonathan); two granddaughters, Brandi & Amanda Higdon; one grandson, Chris Higdon; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Polly Frasier, Libby Kerr, & Donna Hendrick; and one brother, Billy Kelley. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Thomas Lindsey; five sisters; and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 28th 2021 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Family and friends who wish to honor and remember Mrs. Lindsey at the visitation or the funeral are required to wear a mask while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance.
