Patsy Lindsey, age 67 of Leitchfield, passed away Sunday, January 24th 2021 at her residence. She was born October 23rd 1953 in Grayson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Earl & Clara Dutschke Kelley. Patsy was an active member of the Leitchfield First General Baptist Church where she was known for love of singing. She was a personnel manager at Wal-Mart until her retirement, she was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jimmy Lindsey; her daughter, Tracy Lindsey Higdon (Jonathan); two granddaughters, Brandi & Amanda Higdon; one grandson, Chris Higdon; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Polly Frasier, Libby Kerr, & Donna Hendrick; and one brother, Billy Kelley. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Thomas Lindsey; five sisters; and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 28th 2021 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Family and friends who wish to honor and remember Mrs. Lindsey at the visitation or the funeral are required to wear a mask while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance. Watson & Hunt Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Lindsey.
