Rucker Lane Hampton, age 4 months, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 16, 2021 in Leitchfield, Kentucky the son of Tiffany Jackson and Timmy Hampton. Rucker is survived by his parents, Tiffany Jackson and Timmy Hampton, three siblings, Savayah, Zeke, and Kruz, maternal grandfather, Teddy Jackson, paternal grandmother, Rebecca Lindsey (Tim Alexander), maternal great-grandfather, Darrel Jackson, maternal great-grandmother, Peggy Johnson, paternal great-grandmothers, LaVeana Lindsey and Gladys Hampton, paternal great-grandfather, Willie and Brenda Lindsey, aunts and uncles, Tiffany and Devin Poor, Whitney Jackson (Shayne Johnson), Cambriea Jackson, and Jessica Johnson (Jeremy) and his cousins, Raylan, Christian, Harley, Tyler, Dawson, Bridgeleigh, Andrew, Hunter, Zoey, and McKenna. Rucker was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bobbi Jo Hamlet, maternal step-grandfather, Randy Hamlet, paternal grandfather, James Hampton, paternal great-grandfather, Cordie Lindsey and one uncle, Taylor Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Bro. Neil Carnes officiating. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
