Bro. Billy Hack passed from this life on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center in Leitchfield, Kentucky. He was born June 15th 1931 in Grayson County, Kentucky, the son of William Washington Hack & Emma Magaline Oller Hack. Bro. Billy Hack is known in the community as a man of tremendous faith. Over the past 67 years, he has devoted his life to the ministry and serving others. He has served as Pastor and Bishop for the past 38 years at Unity Pentecostal Apostolic Church in Leitchfield, Kentucky. His life has been an inspiration to many during the course of his ministry. He has been faithful to preach the Word of God without apology. In his years of ministry, he has left the legacy of integrity, character and morality. He is highly respected by all and has been a beacon of light to all that's known him. He will forever be remembered as a man that lived by the words that he preached. His earthy journey is complete, and he has left the testimony of enduring till the end. It would be his greatest desire for all to come to God. To repent, to be baptized in Jesus Name and to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. On Sunday, January 2nd, 2022, he preached his last message. The following scripture was the last scripture he read. "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" Philippians 1:6 He is survived by his children, Judy Breeden (Larry) & Timothy Hack (Sheila); seven grandchildren, Dwayne Lowe (Angela), Jeremy Lowe (Martha), Tabitha Lowe, Perry Hack (Brooke), Aaron Hack, Heather Duty (Russ), & Daniel Hack (Tiffany); nineteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and his brother, John Hack. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Decker Hack; his son, Billy Wayne Hack; and his sister, Ima Jean Fleming. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday (January 15th) at the Unity Pentecostal Church in Leitchfield. He will be laid to rest in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday (Jan. 14th) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.
